Craniosacral
Therapy
(CST) is gentle, hands-on
energetic healing used to
improve the functioning of the
central nervous system.
Techniques applied to the head
and body to correct restrictions
can be effective for a wide
range of medical problems
including
migraine, neck and back pain,
brain and spinal cord injuries,
scoliosis, vertigo, and TMJ.
This course
is designed to introduce
analytical and intuitive
visionary understanding of
craniosacral work. The class
emphasizes perceptual clarity,
inner calm and right action,
which form the context for our
study of cranial anatomy and
technique. Each half-day of the
class is devoted to the study of
a specific cranial bone, using
natural disarticulated
specimens, slides and hands-on
work with a partner to deepen
understanding. Students will
learn a basic protocol that they
may use to introduce cranial
work to clients.
